About District Conference

Each year, one of the PRSA Sunshine District’s seven chapters serves as host for the annual conference. Chapters in the district include: Gulf Coast, Gulfstream, Miami, North Florida, Orlando, Palm Beach, and Tampa Bay. The two-day conference typically offers professional development opportunities, networking, and special activities to help chapter members advance their knowledge in public relations.

About Host Chapter

The North Florida Chapter, with more than 150 members, covers North Florida and parts of the South Georgia region. Members are located in the Florida areas of Jacksonville, Gainesville, Tallahassee, and St. Augustine as well as Valdosta, Georgia.

Five chapters of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) also reside in this area. PRSSA chapters can be found at: University of Florida, University of North Florida, Florida A&M University, Valdosta State University and Flagler College.

A 22-member leadership team organizes professional development activities, monthly luncheon programs, accreditation sessions, and similar support activities for public relations professionals.
